Kelly Fero

Children's Ministry Director
Kelly has been the Children’s Ministry Director at Cornerstone for over 20 years. She and her husband, Robbie, have been married for 34 years and raised their three children at Cornerstone. Now proud grandparents to three amazing grandsons, they cherish the blessing of being actively involved in their grandchildren’s lives.

As both a parent and a children’s ministry director, Kelly has experienced every stage of childhood—from newborns and parenting to empty nesting and grandparenting. Through these seasons, she has come to deeply value a life lived in service to God’s purpose and plan. She firmly believes it’s never too early to teach children about God and His Word, and she has seen firsthand how much even two-year-olds can grasp when given the opportunity.

Over the years, it has brought Kelly great joy to see children come to know Christ as their Savior and to begin growing in their faith. Through the classes and activities offered in Children's Ministry at Cornerstone, children are given many Gospel-centered opportunities to build a personal relationship with Christ and learn how to live out their faith day by day.

Watching children grow in their faith through the ministry—from the nursery to entering the youth group—has only strengthened her conviction about the importance of families raising their children in a church community. A place where others come alongside parents to pour into young lives and help shape hearts for a lifelong, wholehearted relationship with God.

Though she may no longer consider herself a “spring chicken,” Kelly is grateful that God continues to allow her to serve in children’s ministry and lead an incredible team of teachers and leaders. Together, they offer classes and activities where children can safely learn, grow, and experience the love of Christ.
